If My Life Was A Movie This Would Be The Playlist

Okay like just a warning I listen to kpop so if you don’t listen to it and aren’t a very open person you won’t like this…

So after that let’s get into it!

Stray Kids’ “Hellevator”

Image result for stray kids hellevator

If you are confused about the title, it is the words “Hell” and “Elevator” put together. The song is about teenage depression and how many people feel as if they are at the worst stage of their life. In essence, that they are on the bottom floor, and the only direction being up.

Lyrics:

“My life’s at a rock bottom’s cliff
I’m walking in a dark tunnel
I’m holding up
This cruel, dreadful day alone
Though I reach out my hand, there’s nobody to hold it
They’re going up riding on my pain and tears”

Reason:

I chose this song because even though I don’t have depression I have had depressing episodes where the lyrics of this song pretty much sums up what it’s like. I also chose this song because my generation seems to have A Lot of depression and I think that this song could help a lot of people 😀

Seventeen Jun and Minghao’s “My I”

Image result for seventeen my i

About the song:

This song was written by The8 (Minghao) when he was a trainee after coming to Korea from China. He wrote it because he felt that he wasn’t doing well and wanted to quit and go back home. It’s all about how even though you might not be where you want to be now, everyone has a future self that is looking back and is proud of them. Because of this, there are two versions of the song sung in Chinese and Korean: one in the present view and one from the future view.

Lyrics:

Chinese:                                                                                               Korean:

If there is another world,                                                          If there are two earths,

Could you be the other me?                                                    It could be the other me

Getting closer to you step by step                                           If I take a step closer,

The ground in front is full of thorns                                         Thorns appear on a flower path

Stretch out your hands, I am there in front of you                  At that time, you reach out a hand to save me

We will meet, don’t yearn for me                                            If I meet you once time passes

I’ll know                                                                                  I’ll know

I am your future                                                                      You were my future

I’ll know                                                                                   I’ll know

You are my past                                                                      I was your yesterday

Reason:

I chose this song because I don’t know in what direction I am heading with my future. I don’t know what I want to do, where I want to go, and all of that fun stuff. This song essentially says that even if you are uncertain about your future that your future self is looking back and is proud of who you are and what you are doing.

BTS’ Epiphany

Image result for bts jin epiphany

About the song:

The song is about a person, who after a breakup with someone they thought they loved, realized that it was okay if you aren’t in a relationship, that you should spend time loving yourself first.

Lyrics:

I get to fully reveal my true self under the smiling mask

I’m the one I should love in this world

The shining me, the precious soul of mine I realize only now, so I love me

Though I’m not perfect, I’m so beautiful

I’m the one I should love

Reason:

I feel like even if I have never been in a relationship before, I need to spend more time focusing on the things I love about myself instead of what I don’t like. This is a song that I think a lot of people should listen to and understand.

TXT’s Crown

Image result for txt crown

About the song:

This song is about a prince who wakes up one morning with horns on his head. Disgusted by his appearance, he runs away and finds a boy with wings growing out of his back. Together they help each other realize that these features do not control who they are.

Lyrics:

My body must have gone mad

There’s a horn coming out of my head

What do I do, I don’t know how to stop it

I’m the only bad thing in this world

Save me, maybe I have turned into a monster got no one but you

Who you? Are you my salvation who found me deserted?

Who you? Are your wings the same pain like mine?

There’s a horn riding up on my head, but I love it

You became my crown

Reason:

I like this song because it reminds me that even when something doesn’t go as you planned, or when something bad happens, it isn’t the end of the world. There are people just like you who are having trouble and you can support each other.

WayV’s Dream Launch

Image result for wayv dream launch

(so technically they aren’t a kpop group but whatever)

About the song:

This song is all about how they are looking forward to the day that their dream comes true. It talks about how they won’t give up and will keep on working until their dream is real.

Lyrics:

Swinging left and right around the universe

I’m still learning how to steer

Launching our dream straight far into outer space

Even if I lose my balance there’s still a smile on my face

Wait for my dream to speed up and get closer to success

Reason:

Not only are the lyrics so personal and positive, but the when I listen to it my whole mood seems to become lighter. I like the fact that even though they say they are waiting for their dream, they aren’t staying still. They are going to make their dream come true no mater what. It’s a lesson that I hope imprints into me every time I listen to it.

Okie dokie well that’s the end. If you felt tortured because it was full of non-English songs, I’m sorry.

Actually no, I’m not sorry they’re awesome songs and you should still listen to them.

Obituary Story

The woman shifted in her chair. The black lace around her throat itched, but she could not move it. The people who came passed by in blurs. The day started to spin around her to the same, monotonous tune. “…so sad…he will be missed…poor thing…he’s in a better place now…is there anything we can help with?…”

It rang in her ears. Over and over and over…

Until it slowly started to transform into a different song.

“Dahm dahm, dahm ooh dahm
Mm dooby do
I want, want you to know
I love, I love you so
Please hold, hold me so tight
All through, all through the night…”

She was spun around the dance floor, her milkshake long left to melt. The young man holding her was smiling and lip-singing along to the song coming from the jukebox.

It was like a fairytale

And yet the song started to change into another…

“I’ve got sunshine on a cloudy day
When it’s cold outside I’ve got the month of May
Well I guess you’d say
What can make me feel this way?
My girl (my girl, my girl)
Talkin’ ’bout my girl (my girl)…”

…and she was spinning again. Only this time her skirts were white, and the man in front of her had tears in his eyes. She felt her own tears start to slide down her cheeks as she recognized her father. She opened her mouth to speak, yet her father stopped moving and looked toward another man that had walked up to them. He passed her hand to his, and before she could get out a single word she was being swept across the dance floor. The man was the same as the one from the song before, except a little older. She looked to where their hands were clasped and gasped when she saw matching bands around their fingers.

But the music changed again…

“Oh, oh, oh
Sweet child o’ mine
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Sweet love of mine
She’s got eyes of the bluest skies
As if they thought of rain
I hate to look into those eyes
And see an ounce of pain…”
She was holding a baby in her arms; it couldn’t be more than 2 weeks old. The man from the last two songs, again a little bit older, came into view. He was singing along to the song coming from the radio, and had a young boy riding his shoulders. They danced around the living room, singing along to the song. She swung her hips and shuffled along with them, laughing as the man sang off-key.
Yet the radio started going to static, again and again, each for longer amounts of time, until it stayed there.
And then the static twisted and turned into a different buzz.
She would recognize that buzz anywhere.
It was the buzz of hospital lights and air conditioning. That unearthly duet that gave off an eerie feeling whenever it stopped.
She was standing outside the door to a room. Its old sliding door creaked as she opened it.
The old, wrinkled face that peered out from behind the blankets smiled as she walked in. Eyes that had looked at her for as long as she could have remembered followed her as she took cautious steps toward the bed. An arm with dozens of dark and light spots shifted and fell out of the sheets when she neared. It reached toward her, and for a reason that would take too long to explain, she took it.
*    *    *    *   *   *    *    *
The world exploded in bright light, filling the room until all there was was her and the man in the bed. The world moved, spinning them around and around. A dancing couple passed them, and she could have sworn it was her face. There were people all around them in various stages of life. Kids, teenagers, young adults, the old…
But they all had one thing in common.
It was them.
The old couple watched as their life played out in front of them. They watched their happiest moments, their saddest moments, their proudest moments, their most ashamed moments…
All of them were there.
As the woman looked back at the man who she had shared her life with, she saw that the hospital bed was gone. He was standing up beside her, that ever-present smile on his face beaming down at her. The tears that had clustered in her eyes fell down, but he brushed them away.
Do not be sad, Janice. This is not a time to cry,”.
“Why did you have to leave, Grant?” she choked out in between sobs.
He smiled and looked out at their memories.
“Look at everything around us,”.
She looked out and watched as their memories danced by. There were so many that it took awhile before the cycle restarted. She felt a warm hand touch her chin, and he slowly guided her head back to look at him.
“I will always be with you, Jannie. Until the end of forever,”.
Around them, their memories stopped, and his words echoed through his other selves.
“Until the end of forever”
“Until the end of forever”
UNTIL THE END OF FOREVER”
The woman opened her eyes to one of her sons shaking her. She was sitting on a bench outside the reception hall.
“Mom? Are you okay? You passed out for a second there…”
Her son’s worried face blurred from the tears that collected in her eyes.
Yes…” her eyes wandered, looking around the reception hall. Her eyes stopped in the middle, focusing on the picture of her late husband, “…I do believe I am okay…at least…”
At least…? At least what, Mom?”
at least until the end of forever

A Dedication

This post is dedicated to the reason why I am weird

No its not my friends(but shout out to them too because they just add to the craziness)

No its not sugar(though it does enhance my already over-creative mind)

It is…

DUHN!!!

My third grade teacher

Yep, we going old school.

Any ways I want to thank my third grade teacher because it was during your class that my weird mind finally found some soil to grow in. It was in your class that my obsession with reading became prominent. I still remember the time that I was so engrossed in reading Harry Potter that I didn’t hear the bell ring lol. It was in your class that I first started experimenting with writing.

SOOOO shout out to my third grade teacher, even though you moved out of state and I don’t really remember what you looked like I still want to tell you that you made a huge impact on my life and that 2012/2013 was an awesome year even if I really really really really REALLY don’t want to go back to it 🙂

Okay that was kinda cheesy

No Where To Grow

He burst into the room just as the sound of death rang out through the room. The screen showed a flat line, and he fell onto his knees as he saw nobody step forward to try and save me. The nurses sensed that he needed to be alone, and left the room.

I know that you’re still in here,” he said, looking around the room, “You always liked to stick around after the party was over,”.

He got up and sat in the chair that was beside my body. He lifted the hand that laid on the bed and held it to his face.

“Why did you have to leave, Ana? I could have made it so that you could stay by my side into the forever too. Now all you are is a spirit, and you can’t even come back to me again,”.

He let out a short laugh, nothing more than an exhale of air.

“I did not choose to be this way, you know. This…this curse was thrust upon me! But I would accept it over and over again, since because of it I was able to meet you,” he looked around the room again, and for a second I could have sworn his eyes locked on my spiritual form longer than anywhere else, “I promise…I promise…I promise…that for as long as I am allowed to live on this world…I will remember you. That way, when the gods finally release me, we can go into the next life…together,” he looked down at my face…my old face…and leaned down to kiss my forehead.

I promise…” he whispered, and that light that seemed so familiar now swallowed me whole…

And the life of Ana Blubarr was over.

Okay yeah that was short don’t get on me. With the way I want to write this story it would be too long for just one post lol :”) So if you want to follow the story just look for “No Where To Grow Part_”

This story was written in response to a writing prompt I saw on Pinterest.

“You live in a world where reincarnation is common and expected, but cannot happen unless your past life has faded from living memory. Last time you were alive, you fell in love with an immortal who swore they would never forget you. You have just been reincarnated.”

If you’re a writer and are having trouble coming up with ideas on what to write, I highly suggest looking up writing prompts and writing through some of them. Don’t think about it, just write. I find that if I’m having trouble coming up with an idea, I can do one of these and ideas just spill from my mind. Usually if I look back at what I wrote and like a section or something I’ll expand off that idea and voila! Story. Who knows, what helps me might help you! 🙂

Hair as black as night, Lips as red as blood, Skin as white as snow

They say there is a beast in the castle.

A monster. A demon.

A being that comes out of your worst nightmare.

The maids picture something with fur. Something that will come in the night. The guards picture something with claws. Something that no sword can win against. The cooks picture something with fangs. Something that comes after the people with the sweetest blood.

But I know what they don’t. I know what the beast that has terrorized the castle for years looks like.

It has hair as black as the night it stalks its prey in.

It has lips the color of the red it takes from our veins.

It has skin as white as the snow that fell the day it came.

They don’t know. No. How can they? Everyday they play with it. They feed it. They clothe and bathe it. The whole castle is in love with the monster that kills them.

They could not possibly know.

How do I know, you ask?

Because it’s my job. I hunt the beasts in the woods that come for our young. Our old. Our sick.

Why haven’t I killed this beast, you ask? Because this monster didn’t come from the woods.

It was born of the palace. It grew up in these halls.

This is its home. This is its hunting ground.

When the king is dead, then the beast can be killed. Without him, it is useless. What good is a hunting dog without its trainer? The queen has already come to my side. She sees the darkness that hides behind the innocence. She feels no sympathy for the monster that has brought death to her kingdom. Together, we will be able to defeat it.

But only if the king is dead.

For the sake of my country, I will do what is needed.

The king is dead. Now the fall of the beast can start.

My queen has ascended the throne. If the beast was but a bit bigger, it would have taken it from us. We must thank the heavens for that gift.

It is now an outcast. The maids are not allowed to bathe and clothe it. The guards are not allowed to protect it. The children are not allowed to play with it. Such is the first step in our plan. Unable to feed, it will run to the woods for prey.

And that is MY hunting ground.

The beast is gone. It has run to the woods. Now, the game has begun.

It has invaded one of the woodland creature’s homes. A family of dwarfs, too dumb to realize what knocked on their door. Soon they will realize their mistake. Too soon, I’m afraid. May the heavens bless their souls.

The dwarfs are gone. When it comes out to search for other prey…that will be when I make my move. And then its rein of terror will be over.

I’ve been hunting it for three days. It managed to snare a human from the neighboring kingdom that shares these woods into helping it. The arrangement did not last long.

I feel that it will not be much longer. Trying to evade me in this unknown terrain has left it without time to feast. Soon, it will be at its lowest point. That is when I will be able to take its heart. Its heart, for the number of hearts it has broken with its cloud of death. Its heart, to bring back to my queen as a sign that it is gone forever.

Its heart, so that it will not be able to come back.

Oh joyous day! The beast that has terrorized the castle is gone! No more shall we be confined to our rooms when the sun dips behind the hills. No more will our young be told horror stories to keep them in bed. No more will our dead be burned to prevent them from being defiled. No more will our old and sick have to be guarded against this evil.

Oh joyous day! The sun shall shine upon the kingdom forever!

We held the ceremony for the monster today.

“So sad” they say “to die so young and so far from home”

If only they knew that it would have looked that young forever anyway

“May the soul rise towards the heavens”

If only they knew that it belonged in hell.

“Poor child. I should have encouraged them to play together”

If only they knew that they would have lost their child.

The queen had the beast burned.

“I don’t want to think about the body rotting in the ground. I’d rather release ashes to the wind than to have bones put into walls. Let the soul be free rather than tied to one place” It was better this way, they all agreed. Little did they know it was a double guarantee that it was gone forever.

When my queen reached her hand into the vase, she didn’t think of her past husband’s most loved thing in the universe. She didn’t think about the small form she had held many a stormy night.

She thought of the beast that prowled the halls of the night. She thought of all the servants that had fallen victim to its appetite. She thought of the peace that was to come to the kingdom, and the child that had been forming in her womb for the last few months.

When my queen pulled out a handful of the ashes, she had tears in her eyes, but they were not from sadness. They were of joy, and of relief. When she threw them into the sea breeze that would carry them out to far lands, she spoke the same words under her breath that I thought, and the same words that I write now.

Good riddance,

Snow White.

Book Review

What is up my petite croissants

So I’ve never done a book review before…let’s see how this goes!

The latest book I’ve read is called Dividing Eden by Joelle Charbonneau. I loved reading the Testing series so when I saw that she had a new book out I had to read it.

Synopsis(straight from the back cover lol):

Twins Carys and Andreus were never destined to rule Eden. With their older brother next in line to inherit the throne, the future of the kingdom was secure.

But appearances—and rivals—can be deceiving. When Eden’s king and crown prince are killed by assassins, Eden desperately needs a monarch, but the line of succession is no longer clear. With a ruling council scheming to gain power, Carys and Andreus are faced with only one option—to take part in a Trial of Succession that will determine which one of them is worthy of ruling the kingdom.

As sister and brother, Carys and Andreus have always kept each other safe—from their secrets, from the court, and from the monsters lurking in the mountains beyond the kingdom’s wall. But the Trial of Succession will test the bonds of trust and family.

With their country and their hearts divided, Carys and Andreus will discover exactly what each will do to win the crown. How long before suspicion takes hold and the thirst for power leads to the ultimate betrayal?

So basically it’s about this kingdom that’s at war and when the king and crown prince die the younger twin siblings have to fight for the throne. At least from what the cover says. In truth, their mother was the one who was going to rule, but she went crazy and renounced her claim so that she could go and basically kill herself(which she didn’t btw). The Council, which are just a bunch of old guys that are drunk on power, tell them “Oh you poor things we’re so sorry for your loss. However, since no one knows which one of you is older, this person is going to take the throne” And well what do you know it’s the head honcho’s nephew! So they do some digging and in order to make sure the nephew doesn’t steal the throne they have to go through a series of trials to see who is worthy of the throne.
Okay enough of that. Onto the review!
WARNING! WARNING! SPOILERS AHEAD!
I really enjoyed reading Dividing Eden. If you read the Testing series and loved all of the twists and turns and not knowing who’s a good guy and who’s a bad guy then you’ll want to read this. At the beginning, you knew who the bad guys were and who the good guys were. The siblings were with each other against the world, but then through the trials that line became blurred and then eventually broken. If you’re one for romance, this is probably not your book. There is a bit of romance, but as I said, lines quickly become blurred and you don’t know who is telling the truth. I won’t tell you anything else because I’m a jabber-mouth and will reveal more than I intend to so…

10 Things You Should Know About the South

Yeehaw! Well how ya doin’ partner? I was just up at the ranch with ol’ Bessy. She’s havin’ a rough ol’ time, ya know. And well who do’ya got here? Don’t tell me your little Jimminy cricket now? You sure have grown! Why I haven’t seen you since you was knee high to a grasshopper! That sure has buttered my grits! Why don’t yall come on up for some sweet tea and small talk.

Do you really think that’s what really goes down in the South?

Not a chance bubba

Here are ten missed conceptions about the South

  • Yall

Let’s face it. Everyone in their life at some point has or will have tried to speak in a southern accent. and let’s face it. If you’re not from the south, you probably failed miserably. It’s the Australian accent of America. You can’t do it unless you grew up with it.

If you grew up in the south, most likely you will grow up and live in the south. Why is that? Well number one, until the rest of the country learns that sweet tea is the nectar of the human race and start carrying it in restaurants and grocery stores, we’re gonna stay right here away from yall’s nasty “iced tea”. Number two, if you were raised right, no self-respecting southerner will want to be more than a day’s drive away from their mama. But most importantly, its because of the prejudice against the southern accent. If you walk into an interview in New York and speak in a southern accent, even if you have the perfect resume for the job, you won’t get it. Why? Because the general population associates a southern accent with somebody that doesn’t know left from right.  One “yall” comes out of your mouth and you’re in for it.

Let’s get one thing straight about “ya’ll” now. YALL IS NOT SLANG Yall is a contraction of “you all”. It has the same type of credibility as “would’ve” or “isn’t” or “you’re”.

One more thing before I move on. Yes, southerners do speak in metaphors and sayings. No, not everything that we say is a riddle that people need to unwrap the meaning of.

  • GRITS

Doesn’t even the word look yummy! Grits. It’s the southern version of oatmeal. You can eat it plain, with butter, with sugar, with cheese, or with any other kind of topping that you want.

And just like grits, southern food comes in a variety of forms

We have ribs. We also have salads. We have chess squares. We also have gluten free foods. We have collared greens. We also have very normal green beans.

The south has all of the foods that the rest of the country has. We also have taken them, modified them, and made them taste entirely different than before.

And yes. We love casseroles. 6/10 times if you go to the south and get a home cooked meal it will be a casserole. And we don’t mind on bit.

  • Country roads…Take Me Home

Let’s just make this short and sweet. Most southerners do. not. like. country. music. I come from a town that’s less than an hour away from Nashville, Tennessee…the literal heart of country music…and I can not stand it. Now there are some exceptions, but the general population would rather make fun of country music than actually sing along with it. Take the title of this section for example. In my high school, full of Gen Z’ers mind you, have literally made that song into the biggest meme on the planet. Someone will start singing it, and everyone in the vicinity around them will start singing it too in the awfullest mockery of the southern accent as possible. So in conclusion, if you go to the south, 90% of the time the store or restaurant you go in…won’t play country music. You’re safe.

  • Jesus

One of the things that define “the South” is the fact that most of us are Bible carrying bilbos that are against anything that isn’t in the Bible.

Like…literally…no place in the world is entirely one religion…

Now sure, there are a whole bunch of churches and people will always say “Good Lord” when startled, but I can not count the number of other religions that are in the South.

This is just one thing that you have to see for yourself to figure out.

  • Southern Hospitality

If there is something that proceeds the south more than our accent and food, its our hospitality. You and a stranger are walking towards a door? The person in front will always hold open the door. You’re an elderly person or a disabled person? We will always let you go first or serve you. If you are younger than someone, most likely we will call you sir or ma’am.

However, if you cross a southerner…

Boom. All sense of hospitality gone.

Let me give yall a little history lesson. Back in the day when it took weeks to travel to some place and a lot of families had large farms and houses in the middle, family and good friends would stay at family and good friends’ houses when travelling. When this happened, the woman of the house would put a pineapple on the mantel above the fireplace, or somewhere else where it is visible. You see, pineapples represent hospitality, so it was a nice gesture of welcoming. Now, after a few weeks when the guest had officially worn out their welcome…

That pineapple was taken off the mantel, chopped up, and cooked into the soonest meal or snack there was.

After that…guests left pretty quickly.

I don’t think I need to say anymore

  • Racism

This is the one that makes me the most angry.

Let me just say one thing about this

My class, the same immature babies that laugh and giggle when they hear the word “sex”, just finished reading To Kill A Mockingbird. That book is a classic…but it also is a treasure trove of the racism of the 1930’s. We’re talking heavy use of the n-word, the false accusation and incarceration of a black man, and every other thing you can think of when you think of segregation. In my class, it is made up of about 65% white people, 30% blacks, 3% Hispanics, and 2% Asians.

And not a single racist joke or remark was made.

The south isn’t living in the 1930’s. And no place else should be either.

  • Uneducated Hicks

I have to put my white flag up here. The high school drop-out rate has been pretty high compared to the rest of the nation. *From 1990-1996, the percentages of people with less than a high school diploma were astounding in the south. The national average was 24.8%. A pretty good number, but certainly not as low as we’d hope. In my own Tennessee it was 32.9%. In Alabama it was 33.1%. In Kentucky it was 35.4%. In Mississippi it was 35.7%, which was the national high. The national low was in Alaska, with 13.4%. 13.4 < 24.8 < 35.7 *

However, a lot has changed in almost 30 years.

*During the 2016-2017 school year, Tennessee had its highest ever graduation rate at 89.1%.* That means that the rate of people who had either dropped out or been held back was 10.9%. That’s less than the lowest dropout rate in the country during the early 1990’s. *In Mississippi, which if you remember had the highest drop out rate in the nation, had a graduation rate of 83% last year.* That’s a 17% drop out or held back rating.

SO next time think that southerners aren’t educated, just remember that we are improving, day by day, year by year. There will become a day when we can proudly state that no, we ARE educated.

  • Roll TIde

Ugh. It hurt just to write that title.

Now that statement that southerners love football isn’t entirely wrong. But it’s also not entirely true either. On one side, my friend’s dad has an entire room decorated with only Alabama gear. Literally. The man has Alabama curtains hung up. On the other hand, there are people like me who don’t even know how to properly throw a football, much less how the game works.

I will say this as a warning. If you go to the south and want to talk football with someone, don’t mention the NFL. Most football fans in the south don’t religiously watch NFL games. They watch SEC. I have no idea what the difference is, but apparently people take it very seriously.

  • Horsies!!

No, everyone does not have a horse. Yes, I pass multiple horses on my way to school because I live in the section of my county that has more farms than subdivisions. No, I did not have the horse faze every girl seems to go through at the age of nine. Yes, I do know how to ride a horse because of summer camps.

Just sayin’

  • Clothing

Let’s get another thing straight. Nobody regularly wears a cowboy hat, plaid button up, jeans, and cowboy boots. I would much rather wear a t-shirt and some comfortable sandals. Now, do I have cowboy boots? Yes. Why? Because there’s a place in Nashville that sells real leather boots at buy on get one free every. single. day. And they do come in handy sometimes.

So that was my list of 10 things that are mistaken about the south.

If you think I left anything out, have questions, or didn’t think some of the information was accurate…just comment and we’ll see what I can do.

About the title

Okay so I decided to change my blog’s theme so it no longer displays my tagline, which was the meaning of logophile. So this is a complentary post on the meaning. Logophile is a noun that means “a lover of words” I chose to identify myself as Logophile because…well number one I love words… But also because as a creative writing blog…this is going to have a loooootttt of words.

What Infires Me

[No the title is not a typo I meant to put that]

[If you get the reference I love you]

Okay enough of that let’s get to the meaning of this.  There are many different things that inspire me to write. Books that I read in my spare time, poems and short stories and quotes I find on the internet, movies and TV shows I watch, etc etc etc. Sometimes I’ll just be walking around and my brain will go Oooooo you know that book that you just read well what would happen is it was combined with this or what would happen if this happened and then pretty soon I’m in my own little fairy tale and I may or may not be creating fan fiction movies in my mind. Woopsie.

For real though there are many things that inspire me to write…anything. It could be a fan fiction that I’m writing in my mind or a whole new world and story or a poem in the shower because I suddenly feel like becoming a professional singer/songwriter whenever I go in there. If I write about all of these things then this blog will take days to make so I will just include a few of the things that inspire me to write. I encourage yall to look up all of these.

Books:
  • The Archived by Victoria Schwab
  • The Demon King by Cinda Williams Chima
  • Dividing Eden by Joelle Charbonneau
Poems:
  • Anything by the author E.H- they’re all super thought provoking
  • Visual poems (seriously they look amazing)
Quotes:
  • “She is an old soul with a new style, who wears black and speaks her mind. So powerful, she leaves her prints on everyone she touches because she is both: a savage and a sweetheart” -S. Mcnutt
  • “Dead people receive more flowers than the living ones because regret is stronger than gratitude” -Anne Frank
  • ” I saw that my life was a vast glowing empty page and I could do anything I wanted” -Jack Kerouac

Like I said these are just a few of many things that inspire me to write or to just think deeply. If any of these inspired you to do anything I am grateful I was able to open your mind.

Just a little starter

What up. I’m not one for cheesy things like introductions, so I’ll just leave this as it is. Expect more from me in the future, I go into more detail when I’m not talking about myself. I’m super controlling and like things to be as good as I can get them, so it might be awhile before I publish something. I’m also forgetful so… Look forward to my posts. Or not.
